how do people actually study for AP exams?

im a junior and im gonna take APUSH and calc AB this year.

for people who got 5s on AP exams, what did you actually do to study?

everyone always says “just study consistently” but I honestly have no idea what that’s supposed to look like..

so far, i just look at notes i took from class and do practice questions but any tips?
