Emissions farms vs real yield. Anyone actually switching?
Let’s be honest. Most of us came here for spicy APR.
But emissions-driven yield has a ceiling. When token supply expands faster than demand, math wins.
RWA-backed lending flips the source of yield. External borrowers. Real-world collateral.
I’ve been digging into 8lends lately. Fixed monthly payouts. Structured lending model. Less farming, more credit.
Is it less exciting? Definitely.
Is it potentially more sustainable? That depends on underwriting quality.
Curious if anyone here is reallocating part of farm profits into RWA-style fixed yield, or if that’s just not the vibe of this sub.
