Any insights about Zillow data quality for listing views and saves?
My condo just went on the market about 16 hours ago. Zillow shows 405 views and 25 saves this morning. I asked chatgpt what this meant, if anything, and it went into a long explanation of view-to-save ratios, competitiveness, expected open house traffic, expected number of offers, etc. My question is how good (valid, reliable, and representative) is their data? I know their Zestimates fluctuate wildly and do not compare true comps. It also says brokers use this data to test pricing and forecast potential number of offers. I'm skeptical of the data because I don't know how Zillow knows the number of open house guests and offers. As you can see by my user name, I like data but I don't like data that is compiled from questionable methodology. Any insights? Help me out of this rabbit hole? TIA.
