I pulled a 9-card Lenormand spread while listening to an interview with Chris Bledsoe and thought the structure of the spread was interesting enough to share here.
The cards came up like this:

Top row: Cross – Heart – Dog

Middle row: Lady – Stork – Sun

Bottom row: Fox – Garden – Rider

Center of the spread:

The central card is Stork, which in Lenormand usually represents change, transition, or transformation.
So the overall theme of the spread seems to revolve around a shift in perception or worldview triggered by an unusual experience.

Top row – Origin of the story:

Cross – Heart – Dog

To me this reads like the beginning of a classic visionary narrative:

Cross → a fateful or spiritually meaningful event
Heart → strong emotional impact
Dog → loyal supporters or witnesses
So the pattern looks like: a powerful personal experience that has a deep emotional effect and is taken seriously by a small circle of trusted people.

Middle row – The transformative encounter

Lady – Stork – Sun
This is the strongest line in the spread.

Lady → feminine presence or intuitive aspect

Stork → transformation

Sun → illumination, clarity

That combination suggests an encounter that leads to a transformative realization. Symbolically it reminded me of patterns often seen in mystical or apparition narratives, where a feminine figure plays a central role.

Bottom row – What happens once the story goes public

Fox – Garden – Rider

This row feels like the “public phase”:
Fox → skepticism, doubt, possible deception
Garden → the public sphere / society
Rider → news, messages, stories spreading
So the interpretation here would be: once the story enters the public domain, it spreads widely but also attracts skepticism and debate.

Overall pattern

What struck me most is that the spread seems to describe a process rather than a verdict:
A powerful personal experience
A transformative interpretation of that experience
The story becoming public and controversial
Interestingly, the spread contains both Sun (clarity) and Fox (skepticism), which feels like a balanced symbolic tension between inspiration and doubt.

Curious what other Lenormand readers here would make of this layout.
