Atrom Mindcare Titration Waiting times

Hi I was just wondering if anyone else had experiences with waiting 10 weeks from diagnosis with this provider to start medication?

I’ve just recently been diagnosed through the RTC pathway (28f) and it’s been such a relief to piece things together. However the wording in the report is vague and says I can trial a non medicated approach to managing my symptoms for 10 weeks before starting titration?

There isn’t anything in the NICE guidelines regarding a mandatory waiting time or anything on the NHS website. However they’re insisting it is mandatory.

Is this normal? It’s just so frustrating as due to increased work pressure and impending qualification exams, I really feel I’d benefit from medication as I’ve been trialing the non medicated approach my entire life!

I’ve tried to contact them as in my report it said could discuss worsening symptoms with a clinician but they won’t budge or give me the opportunity to speak with one!
