When is a MacBook Pro M4 14" better than a MacBook Air M5?

Hi everyone,

I have two options right now: I can either buy a new MacBook Air M5, or buy a used MacBook Pro M4 (14") from a friend. It's in perfect condition, 100% battery health, no issues at all. He's a close friend and barely used it because his new job ended up providing him with a high end laptop.

My question : In which situations would the 14-inch MacBook Pro M4 be a better choice than the MacBook Air M5? Which one would you pick ?

Thanks!
