Do i seriously need to grind a new vorkath's head every time i lose my Assembler?

This can't be right. I lost my Assembler due to a misjudged value of protect item in the wilderness.

Perdu is only selling the Attractor and Accumulator. And Ava is asking for a new head to sell me one. Am I missing something?
