Can I refuse a referral to the ED team? Scotland

I’m 19, I have had a relapse w my ED but I am wanting to start recovery, I thought it would be helpful to have a help of a dietitian. However, I went to my GP and was told they didn’t have a dietician that works with ED patients. I’ve just gotten my blood drawn today and I am worried about my results due to my weight (hopefully all is good though😓).

I have gone through the UK ED team route (outpatient) after being hospitalised due to organ damage etc (when i was like 14), and it was absolutely disgusting and genuinely made recovery so much harder (I moved back home from the UK following this and found that working w my family and friends at my own pace wo my weight being a constant thing was so much more helpful as it didn’t push the ED identity on me constantly yk?) so that kind of is the approach that I want to take this time also.

My question is is it possible that I refuse a referral to the ED team if they refer me? I’m so worried because I have such a willingness to get myself out of this and do not want the referral to put me off because I know it will and I know it won’t be helpful for me especially since I’m an international student and away from home.
