are the big banks easy to get into for Software engineering as a graduate?

I have experience as a grad, ive given up on big tech too hard but im wondering if stuff like macquarie or westpac or commbank care about experience even if relevant but technical (I did data sci 2 years of junior experience) or should I just try and highlight my university swe projects to show my interest in SWE bc thats the grad job I want
