Don’t like this new update :[

A friend recommended this app to me pre-update when I mentioned not wanting to connect to a bunch of other apps to track my reading/watching/listening habits, and this allowed me to do exactly that. Unfortunately, this app is now useless if I’m not already plugged into a bunch of other apps. I’m still too stubborn to use Goodreads or Letterboxd, so I’ll just start writing everything down by hand or something. Hopefully this is temporary, but I don’t really understand why the developers would roll out an update as catastrophic as this.

It kind of bums me out. Shelf was a bit janky, but I really liked the previous layout and I wanted to see how collections would develop. My friend’s deleted the app, and I’m only hanging on to see if they’ll ever roll back the changes.
