Pax made false accusations to driver

It’s a busy Saturday late night. I got 4 pax that had alcohol. I started the car for less than 1 sec when one of the pax still entering the car. Then she just got on the ground wouldn’t get up. She’s yelling about pain. I asked is it her foot, she pointed to left knee, I checked her left knee and saw no bleeding, no abrasions, no even redness, it’s smooth. I’m very confused where is the injury. But she got me worried and at the moment I didn’t think people could pretend to get injured so I didn’t take picture of it. She acted like she can’t stand up.

I offered to take her to hospital, they all refused. I work in healthcare field and how can she fragile like this and she’s in heels. No where injury but she can’t even walk.

I apologized to them for this situation multiple times. I carried her to my seat , carried her out of my car. They still sat in my car to have me drive them back home. While in my car, they spoke in Spanish to have all of this in documents to claim some money.

I reported to Lyft after this trip. I gave them my contact number telling them if they need anything. I was hoping they would contact me.

When I check the camera, I found out she didn’t really fall from my car. But she basically sat on the ground on purpose!

Two days later Lyft told me that they claimed that I almost RUN OVER THEM, cause THEM SERIOUS INJURY.

I am very upset that they made such wild false claim to me.

How can people do this to a female driver who drive in the middle of the night?

I was respectful, caring and very kind to them. How can they start this shit to me?

I’ve got camera and recorded some of their conversations in the car.

Anyone here has similar experience or knowing what to do besides providing my statement and footage to Lyft company?

Do I need to pay $2500 deductible to Lyft ?

This is not right and I need the people’s wisdom here.

I’ve drove more than 1k rides for Lyft and rate 5.00

I made some amazing friends but also met disgusting people like this. I have no interest in doing Lyft but I don’t want to be deactivated my account because of them.
