We all know these four boosters are the most meta and most popular but I wanted to have a conversation about boosters since I really dont know the communities opinion on boosters the four boosters are really strong hellpod makes it so the game just works as intended and you load in and respawn with full supplies (should just be how the game is without needing to waste a booster slot) vitality makes you take a good amount of reduced damage and stamina booster is really good that its honestly super noticeable and miserable playing without it after bringing it the last few games especially with heavy armor and stim booster my favorite, it makes you wolverine when you stim becoming almost invincible and run faster.

I have seen AH talk about the four horsemen boosters and their talk about meta, and it doenst really match what they do in game but for this purpose it want to focus on boosters. They say they dont like Swiss army knives and certain things just being the "thing" to bring but the boosters they release are really lame, bad, or even a detriment to a team. The boosters they release don't really do anything to ever warrant taking one of the main fours place for example the two reinforcement boosters one that reduced the CD of the cooldown of reinforcements when it reaches zero and the increased reinforcements both of those boosters seem decent enough but those boosters do two things wrong you're banking on losing and take a slot of one of the main four that could actually prevent many deaths if brought. and if you're already losing that hard 5 extra lives or 30 less second CD isnt doing that much to help. why get a couple extra lives when you could bring stam booster to out run threats rotate faster or vitality or stim booster to be more durable and live things you should've died from.

My favorite thing in this game systematically is the boosters I'm always excited to see what they release and they always fall short and most of the other boosters in warbonds are pretty bad or even a detriment to a team like the infamous hellpod boosters that make you do a fire burst when hellpods land or the EMS one but there are so many times we are near hellpods in the first place like to get supplies get our backpacks and support weapons or to spawn next to our team (we cant even really steer our hellpods that much anymore so its a whole lot easier to hit your team and you cant do anything). Why bring any of the three hellpod boosters being worse grenades for their corresponding effect (smoke, fire, ems) when you could bring the four horsemen.

It honestly feels like they could implement a primary booster and a secondary (but weaker) booster slot for example the four horsemen and a few others like muscle enhancement could be primary boosters since they do have big effects but others like the hellpod ones, sample collection ones, and reinforcement ones could be a secondary booster slot.

Conclusion/TLDR: I wish there were more boosters that were actually good why would I ever take Concealed Insertion, Stun pods, sample scanner, sample extricator, armed resupply, firebomb hellpods, motivational shocks, expert extraction pilot localization confusion, flexible reinforcement budget, and UAV recon booster over the main four and maybe if we have DSS support you can make a argument for UAV, muscle enhancement (underrated imo I bring this a good amount) and, expert pilot (pretty decent in certain scenarios if youre joining late or if there's a modifier but again why not bring a better booster to make you stronger and survive the extra long extract timer) I hope AH expands and fixes the current booster system as it could be so cool to see.

Four horsemen of boosters.
