Recruitment process question
Hi everyone,
I just finished an HR phone screening and was asked to complete a Codility test afterward. I was given 45 minutes for three tasks, and unfortunately I ran out of time before I could properly debug everything.
Because of that, I’m pretty sure some of my submissions won’t pass the test cases ( there are some environment/config issues). I’m curious how companies usually evaluate these coding assessments. Do they rely strictly on the automated test results, or do hiring managers/engineers sometimes still review the code manually to see the approach?
For context, it seems like there may not be a huge number of candidates for this role (based on LinkedIn), so I’m wondering how strict these assessments usually are.
Has anyone here gone through something similar with Codility or similar platforms? Would appreciate any insights.
