UK Flight Cancelled - Can I recover costs?

Hi All,

My flight to Dubai has been cancelled. The flight was due to depart on the 25th March.

The airline has not given a reason for cancelling. Its just says your flight has been cancelled.

I have the option to rebook but they have no flights for the whole week.

I have booked a hotel which costs £1500. Can I claim this cost back from anyone? I have travel insurance. The hotel is unfortunately non refundable.
