I did this community for those who was into virtual worlds, such as secondlife and opensim. We know sometimes people tend to pull from those things due to the complications it holds on these types of gaming systems.

We do build and mod stuff to make gaming in these places stand out, we're doing immersive virtual worlds =Immersive virtual worlds are computer-simulated environments that allow users to interact and explore through avatars, creating a sense of presence and engagement similar to real life. These worlds can be used for various purposes, including gaming, social interaction, education, and training.

We know 3d virtual worlds we have known about these since early 2000 to mid 2000's. imvu and secondlife, would be battling it out who was better.

Then came along secondlife in a basic setup offered by opensim, where linden labs started secondlife and became a proprietary system, meaning they would charge you for the market uses like imvu does.

You paid nearly 300 bucks a month for a simulator as where it's only 5 bucks else where, and not in secondlife, hyper grid is blocked by secondlife, so you can't hop around like you can using an os grid like secondlife. Down fall no market for some of these places.

Kitely is one of the first immersive grids. they do have a market they do let you sell on it they offer 1x1 256-256 region for about 15 bucks the servers are very reliable just not may people roam.

What is Hyper grid? this is a feature, where if you're on say kitely grid, I can come from say a french grid to your location, we can share items, now note there's no charge for assets most is free some can be shared, some creators block that. But we can visit each from one place to another.

Secondlife after many years decided to go all out on prices. That raised a few concerns for it's users and creators of a long time standing. I still make a few bucks from the market place, I been with them 17 years, though now I'm more into open sim grids due to cost of free. Buy land rest of the items are free. Now most old school users of secondlife? Are grid owners and or member in a multi selection of grids or grid, hint where VWC came from Virtual World Creations is a creator service in many grids. We stopped supporting a mongering service like secondlife, to much money not enough support will surely make people run, and rude people in the support area.

Using the same OS to operate secondlife, it's a barbone system like secondlife was. unless you know how, you'll never measure up to second life, cause they have a team of people who work on it. As where opensim software, you'll have to have your own people to make it either better than secondlife or like secondlife. There is differently tech notes to learn it and run a great virtual world.
