Home labs versus Media cube

I have a living room that's 300 ft². I live in Texas where it can get humid. I went ahead and ordered the 50 quart home labs dehumidifier. I wanted something quiet as possible. I know no humidifier is going to be too quiet, but quiet as possible. But after I ordered it, I read some sites that said media cube was the best. Now I'm wondering if I made the wrong choice?
