Formatting?

Hi! I've been trying to upload some writing to the site but I'm having trouble with formatting it correctly. Honestly I think it's because I simply don't understand how clearly. Whenever I upload, it always comes out as one huge block. Is there anyplace with a good tutorial or guide? Thanks!!
