One of our volunteers was driving today and saw this cat was sitting on the side of the road, sick and weak. Our county has thousands of cats like this and while many people probably drove past him she couldn’t.

He was very thin, with dirty, rough fur and a tired, hopeless look in his eyes. His nose was running, and his ear had a large growth that was bleeding and full of infection. It looked very painful.

He was just sitting there, alone, suffering on the street😢💔

Luckily she had a trap in the car and managed to catch him and take him straight to the veterinary clinic.

We took him to the same vet who successfully operated on Steve, a cat who had a very similar tumor in his ear. Steve recovered well and is still doing great today, so we truly hope this doctor will also be able to help this cat.

The vet says the growth in his ear must be surgically removed, and they also need to run tests because he is very weak and may have other infections or viruses.

Our volunteer said she could not leave him there to suffer and die on the street.

Now we are asking for help to cover his treatment and give him a chance to recover.

Today our volunteer stopped for a cat everyone else drove past, weak, thin, and alone on the roadside, his ear badly infected and bleeding. She refused to leave him to suffer. Now he’s at the vet fighting for a chance to live. Please help this forgotten soul get care and hope 🙏🏻💔
