How do people feel about the notice board update?

Hi everybody, I was wondering what the general consensus on the notice board/festival nul is? I can understand why people would want these things, when I first found out about the notice board I thought it would be really useful but in practice it's just made the game ever so slightly more annoying imo. I preferred when MyMel would just tell me things when I logged in rather than having to talk to her, then check the board, then talk to the nul. Like I don't see how this is doing anything but adding extra admin.

I thought the notice board would be good, I thought I'd be able to check that for when birthdays are and what I need to collect for decoration kits instead of googling it if I forgot but now it just feels like another daily task I was already doing but now takes slightly longer to do.

Am I alone in this, do most people prefer this?
