Seeking Affirmation
Ok I’m in a very good relationship, I love her very much, we talk all the time, have a great life together. We’ve been together nearly 2 years. I would never cheat on her.
But I’ve noticed that she hasn’t been appreciative of me much, using words of affirmation(one of my love languages) as much as she did in the beginning. I believe she loves me but I don’t hear it very much, just an I Love You as we go do our things.
But the Confessions part is:
Ive noticed recently that I have been talking to women more online. Flirting, chatting them up, I’m in chat rooms, games with a convo feature, and with no intention of ever getting together/hooking up with them, but just trying to see if I can get them as interested in possible, and then ghosting them.
I know it’s a problem, let me just say that.
But I don’t know how to fix it.
I’ve mentioned this to her before and she’ll work on it for a little bit but then it goes back to the way it was and then I start looking for that dopamine hit again from the chat rooms and then feel bad afterwards.
Any advice besides “talk to your girl” or “break up with her” or “keep it in your pants?”
