Am I allergic to my dog?

Hello, I have been feeling under the weather recently. And I have a feeling it may be because of my dogs, which would be very concerning. So I just recently started march break and it's been winter the last few months, so there's been some viruses going around which is part of the reason why I think it might be allergies and part of the reason why I think it might not be. So as like a little kid, I never had an allergy to a single thing and of course, it was pretty nice, but then like 2 years ago I think, I got really sick around spring time and we determined that it was allergies so I took anithistamines and they helped. Now I have never had cats of my own, but I have often been around cats because I know many people who do own cats. I never had a problem with cats until last year when I stayed over at my friends place, which I had done multiple times before with no problem. But suddenly, that time, his cats, whom I had known for like a year or 2, and seen many times over that period, and had no previous problems with, were making me virtually completely incapable of breathing to the point that I had to walk out of his house a few times to not like die. I took antihistamines and survived the night, but this problem has persisted over the next few times I've been to his house, but gotten better, cause if it hadn't I wouldn't be going to his house. Now back to the winter being cold season thing, I have gotten sick a few times this winter, and it wasn't fun, but I've gotten familiar with the feeling of being sick. Now with this background knowledge I can say that the way I feel right now isn't sick, but a lot closer to allergies. So as I also previously stated, it's now march break, and I have been at home a lot more. I didn't really have a big problem at the beginning of the break, but at the beginning of the break I also wasn't around my dogs a lot, I was out one day, and then for another two days, my parents went away from the house with them. And ever since they came back home, I started feeling sick and on the one day that I was away from home for most of the day, I largely felt fine. There are a few reasons that I might personally be able to come to the conclusion that it's just a sickness and not allergies, but honestly, they're not very convincing. So when I'm out, I do hydrate myself better cause I just carry two water bottles around, but at home I'm a bit of a chud and can't be bothered to refill them, which means I was more hydrated on the days I felt better. Second, the main symptom is a severely stuffed nose and I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty sure any level of physical activity can clear up your airways, so if I'm walking around outside, I'll probably breathe better than just sitting around. Also, it is just cold season, so it's not impossible that I caught something. But if this is a potential allergy, what do I do, like are anithistamines really enough when I live with two dogs. And can I stop in any way collecting these allergies like inifinity stones, cause going from allergy free for about like 13-14 years to now, at 16 having like three allergies is concerning. Yeah thank you for your patience if you actually read all that, and any help is appreciated.
