How to move left stick constantly

I play on controller, and have short fingers, especially thumbs. I’m thinking of switching over to the 8bitdo pro 2 controller because it has the psp even stick level feature- but to make a long story short, to activate aim assist, you’re supposed to constantly rotate the left stick, but it literally hurts to do it- it also never fully rotates because of my hand size. I play on the gamesir g7, and I just can’t do it. Are there any tips? Anything I could do to facilitate this?
