Wii or switch 1/2

I want to know what would be best for my family and I a Wii classic, switch 1 or 2. I grew up mostly with Sony consoles, but my very first console was a GameCube and my sister won a Wii at some fair. Well that Wii was always so fun to play as a family and I miss that feeling sometimes. Well have a daughter on the way and I would like to get a system that we can all play motion style games. I’m just not sure if the switch is the best option or if I should just go out and source a decent Wii classic.

(I would still like to emulate if possible, such as GameCube games, I have modded consoles)
