Regarding Season 1…

This is just something I thought about a while back, but in season 1 of Wednesday, we know that for the Poe Cup, Yoko was supposed to be on Enid’s team, which was the Black Cats, before she had the garlic bread incident, but what I also noticed was that her girlfriend, Divina, was on Bianca’s team, the Gold Bugs (I think that was the team name).

Now, what I don’t get is if Yoko and Divina were a couple in the show, then why weren’t they on the same team together? Unless all the positions for one of the teams were already filled, but if that was the case, then don’t you think they would’ve signed up together earlier on when there was still plenty of open space?
