U6 pro not meshing to U7 pro max

Question

This reddit has been bad for my wallet, but...

For a temporary situation i want to use my U6 pro for a wireless uplink to my desk.
Cabling will start later this year.

I can Adopt my U6 pro wirelessly. but after adopting, and getting ready, it refuses to connect to the U7 pro, blue with a blink every 5 secs.

I'm banging my head on my desk, on why it does this.
As far as i found it should just connect wirelessly like when it adopts.

I'm on the latest AE Firmwares.
