Casual Solo Daily Ops

I don’t take the game too seriously when it comes to gameplay and builds. I run mostly small ranged weapons and a fat man for tougher enemies. I was wondering if it’s possible to solo daily ops as a casual player or do you need a team and do you lose anything if you’re not able to do it other than time?
