Did anyone else’s hair change from straight to wavy over time? Or is it just me?

I read somewhere that when you fall in love, your hair can turn curly or wavy. I always thought that was complete nonsense.

But something strange happened to me.

I literally had straight hair before. Over the past 2–3 years, my hair has gradually become wavy and slightly curly (not too curly, but definitely noticeable waves and curls). I never paid much attention to it at first, but after I met this girl (I don’t know if I love her, but I like her a lot), I started noticing the change.

(We’re not in a relationship, but I might try to marry her in the future.)

My family even asks me if I’ve had some kind of treatment done on my hair, but I swear I haven’t done anything. It just changed on its own.

Some girls at university even complimented my hair and said I look like Ahad Raza Mir, especially because of my hair and face shape.

I do know that hair texture can change over time due to age or hormones, so maybe that’s the real reason. But the timing made me think about that “love makes your hair curly” idea again.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? Or is there a scientific explanation behind it?
