Need Help with my Job Search (US)

I have been applying recently on boards like Indeed and LinkedIn, and nobody is responding to my applications. I am specifically applying for automated QA jobs here in the US. Is there something wrong with my resume? Is the job market really that bad? What can I do to improve my resume and chances?
