Thinking about buying the Odin 2 portal

The discount's on Ayn"s site are pretty good, the portal 2 for 249 looks like a decent deal. I've been looking at the market from a distance for months now, not buying anything and adapting using what I already had on me. I was already thinking of selling my ps vita and my 3ds xl (I already have a base 3ds), and that lil extra money would cover a big portion of the 2 portal. Is it the best device out there at that price range? A sd8gen2 with 8gb ram and 128gb of storage sounds like a killer deal to me, I don't know. I'm kind of lost
