How many supervisors does it take for one job

It amazes me how many supervisors we have, not even including the PM. Today I have a supervisor come to me and ask if I'll be able to make 8 hours. I tell them that I can do that today and they say ok. 15 minutes later I have another supervisor come up and tell me "hey, 8 hours today, ok?"

Is it groundhog day? They're doing the same job lol. It's funny because they'll usually be arguing in the morning on who should do the 1 task they have for the day. Or one supe will hand out some pivots and then another one comes around and is surprised to find out the other supervisor already split up the routes to people.

Our office could use another clerk or a mail handler and less supervisors. I don't like eliminating jobs from anyone but its ridiculous how the crafts are singled out and when a clerk leaves they don't want to replace them. But management is safe and telling us that we don't have enough work? lol.

When I'd be at the office there would be one just running errands and picking up more fast food all the time. I was shocked by how much they just sit around doing muckbangs.
