I tried something...

So I recently acquired a hp elitedesk 800 g6 that I want to run as an emulation box. Ive been experimenting with oses and tried a good ole regular steamos install which unsurprisingly failed. So I opted for bazzite... with game mode enabled on intel uhd graphics... well So far so good, it booted. Think it'll work this way or am I just gunna have to redo it with the desktop only image? Im a "journeyman" Linux user for lack of a better term. Any suggestions on what I should test or what I should do on top of a regular install?
