Refunds rant

I’ve been waiting on a verification letter for a month as of tomorrow. In the last 3 weeks, I have called the irs 3times about my address situation whereas the address I filed my return with because I wanted to make sure it matched my w2. And fyi, my workplace I just came back with the company that I left back in 2022 and they still had my old address on all my paperwork and for some reason didn’t update it. But each time I have spoke with theirs, I repeatedly told them my situation and that the address on my return is useless and that I needed a new letter sent out. They wouldn’t send a new one out to me. Why?? I’m not sure of. I’m going in person tomorrow to verify because of the issues with dealing with them over the phone and due to my address situation. I have been seeing a bunch of ppl who have uploaded screenshots and what they are receiving back for their refunds. And it seems like our government and the Ira is more in favor of giving return refunds to those for example have paid out $11,000 and up in federal taxes. It’s almost like they are saying “screw the ones who struggle making crappy wages”.
