Tony Evans Daily Devotional (March 4, 2026) Using Your Voice for God’s Purpose
Today's Word: God has never intended for His people to sit silently on the sidelines while the direction of society is decided. From the very beginning, God designed human beings to reflect His character and bring His order into the world. In a democracy, one of the tools God has placed in the hands of believers is the vote. Kingdom voting means recognizing that when you step into the voting booth, you are not just expressing a political opinion — you are exercising stewardship. It’s an opportunity to represent God’s heart for justice, righteousness, and moral clarity in the public square.
Too many believers treat voting like it’s optional, but when God gives you influence, He expects responsibility. Government itself was established by God to preserve order and promote good in society. That means when Christians vote with biblical wisdom, they help align society closer to God’s design. It’s not about party loyalty or personal preference — it’s about seeking leaders, policies, and directions that best reflect God’s principles of truth, justice, compassion, and righteousness.
When you vote with a Kingdom mindset, you recognize that your ballot is a testimony. It is your way of saying that God’s standards matter not only in church but also in the way a nation functions. Every vote becomes an act of stewardship, an opportunity to push society closer to God’s intended order. When believers understand this, voting stops being a routine civic duty and becomes a powerful spiritual witness in the public arena.
Let your voice reflect God's truth and let your vote be a testimony that His righteousness still matters in the world.
