Will Alex be more of a grappler than He was in 5?

Have not played the game much at all since getting it because I just don't like any of the characters other than zangief and dhalsim, but being bad and already having competitive anxiety they feel overwhelming to play online. Really hoping Alex can be a stepping stone to fully indulge into the game and getting into Zangief.

I did play some SF5 towards the end of it's life span and only played Cody and Alex, but He felt more like a brawler rather than a rastler. The trailer makes it look like hes way more grapple heavy and its got my hopes up of getting into SF6 finally.
