Let down by the NHS

Had to go to A&E today as I suspected an ovarian cyst had ruptured. I was in immense pain, which wasn’t being treated with painkillers of various types, which was the concern of *why* wasn’t it going away with painkillers, making me think it was serious.

However was immediately brushed off by drs- told that it ‘wasn’t my PCOS’ and instead a random skin cyst that went away nearly a year ago that i previously had. I had no tests other than bloods (which I’m seeing online that if it was a small cyst it might not even show on bloods)- no ultrasound, nothing. I was then concerned my IUD might have perforated something- but the Doctor couldn’t be less bothered, even with me in tears, and sent me away in pain and crying. Im still in pain mow hours later, but terrified of going back and being brushed off again and made to feel stupid.

Im not sure what to do. I’m so tired of advocating for myself with this. I just want to be taken seriously.
