2026 Auto Start-Stop

Is it true that this “feature” cannot be permanently disabled, that it has to be manually disabled every time the car is driven? That is an absolute deal killer for me. Insane considering that turbos are not supposed to be spun down and then up multiple times. Thanks for the advice either way.
