2010 - 2012 US quarters

Where the heck did they all go? I've been collecting circulated quarters for about a year. Very casually. Going through maybe $20 a week, and I rarely see quarters from this period.

Yes, I know they minted fewer of these, but it's not like they only minted 1M of each one. I've probably seen 50 of the same 2017 quarter when I haven't seen any of many of the 2010 - 2012 quarters.

And yes people collect the lower mintage quarters. But are people hoarding boxes of them? I would think 1-2M would be enough for the collectors out there. So where are the rest of them?

I guess I have really under estimated the amount of collectors and how much current stuff that will never be worth over face they collect. And yeah I could buy a set of quarters to fill in my holes, but I'd rather just find them naturally. Oh well at least it keeps the hunt alive.

Still haven't found a W or a proof. But I did find a silver one (1962?) which kinda got me to start collecting them.
