401k over contribution (I know I'm an idiot)

I have a few js

I meant to leave one earlier but the money was good. I accidentally over contributed 5k to my 401k. I was hoping to just do an excess deferral from the job I left for the amount but they will not process it without my other w2s. I know the wisdom is leave it and pay the penalty, and I'm good with the penalty .

But I'm concerned the matching will get returned to my Js and get me outed and trying to fix it. Gonna call the other plans and see if I can remove it from them without notification to the employer.

But if I can't, do I have any other pathways? any advice?
