I posted this on HoyoLab like yesterday, but… I kinda just forgot about Reddit 😅

Anyways…

Ok ok I know I sound crazy, I FEEL crazy, but just HEAR ME OUT… they look so, SO similar, and EVERYONE has noticed, but like… what if that was a very intentional choice?! Because she’s secretly actually his long-lost presumed-dead sister?!

I mean, come on, there’s gotta be a reason that we’ve never seen his sister’s face, right?! In all the trailers and the little in game images too, we’ve seen her like 3 different times at least but NEVER HER FACE and it means something, right?!?! That they hid it on purpose, for, well, THIS? maybe? right?!?!?!

I mean come ON even the part and style and shade of their hair is SO similar!!! And the single earring on the right side?! Even their outfits have some interesting similarities!!! And the rounded diamond pupils and two colored eyes?!?!?! She even also has no light spots in hers!!! And like aren’t his eyes a unique color even for the Avgins anyways? so like it makes sense that hers would be a different color but still two colored right?!?!

She even works for the IPC and also it couldn’t help but occur to me that she has a uniform which is distinctly almost entirely black… which made me think of how the IPC people kept being referred to as, like, “the people in black suits from beyond the sky” or something by his sister specifically… and just… AGH it has to mean something!!!!!!!!!!

I’m so delusional help

But also it would be SO AMAZING of a plot point/character moment for this to be true, and like I absolutely love Aventurine so I really desperately need this to not just be a crazy figment of my delusional imagination. Also if this is true it would make a whole lot of sense for Aventurine to be supposedly getting a new form sometime during Planarcadia right?!?!?!?!?!

Theory: Kuchiba is Aventurine’s long-lost sister
