Pros/cons of Cohort size?

Hi! I was wondering how much of a difference cohort size makes? Are small cohort sizes inherently better or is it more about the specific program and the ratio of faculty to students? I would especially love to hear from people that have been or are currently in a PsyD program. Thanks!
