Thinking of a DA1K for my 3rd flashlight as I currently have no throwy, wondering why there is no SFT-70 4200K...

Discussion

I see everyone praise the SFT-70 3000K but then I look at stats on product page:

If I want a good throw, the 5000K seems a better option and I'm also not a fan of warm white, but CRI is better on the 3000K. Can't tell if 73 vs 95 is a big difference.

That's why I'm curious why Luminus is not making a SFT-70 4200K that I guess would sit in-between. The NTG 50 have 4200K but 22,400cd, same as SFT-70 3000K.

I don't know if anyone can translate 22,400cd vs 41,600cd in distance? I wish we could see how it looks on a huge white wall 300 meters far.

For now I try to read all the threads I can find about the DA1K with new N261S optic. Also looking for pics of beamshot outside but there's not a lot.

Oh, anyone have both D4K and DA1K side by side? Just curious if they look exactly the same.
