Do you ever take your baby on outings past their bedtime?

Husband has a weekly thing out of the house he does. I’d like to go, but it’s usually in the evening and ends after my 7 month old’s bedtime. However, my 7 month old tends to wake up once or twice to nurse between when he is put to bed (730-8ish) and when the event normally ends (10pm).

When he was younger we just took him in his car seat and he snoozed but not sure that’s a viable option now.
