23M / 140 Is it worth getting my hormones/bloods tested?
Past month I’ve been dealing with various issues such as chronic insomnia, fatigue , general lack of motivation, low libido (feels nonexistent), apathy, and just overall not feeling like myself 100%.
I’ve tried this past month to try and fix my sleep through natural supplements to prescription meds like Trazodone 100 mg and Seroquel 25-50 mg to no avail. Made me feel sedated but didn’t seem to improve sleep/sleep quality.
It’s gotten to the point where I’ve had to take a leave off work.
First time Dr consultation concluded it could be depression and prescribed me the Seroquel for sleep. I don’t think it’s depression as I’ve had no prior history and feel like there’s nothing for me to be depressed about at the moment, besides the symptoms that I’m facing.
Is it worth checking my bloods/hormones tested? I also wanna note I got into an altercation 5 months back in which resulted me hitting my head twice and was bleeding from a gash on my head pretty bad. Next day I went straight back to work and didn’t notice anything symptoms after that, unless it was real gradual.
As of now all I’ve gotten is a referral to a sleep specialist as I forgot to mention my head injury last Dr visit.
