Let me play a rough custom character, even if it's broken

I know character creation is a complex system and the devs probably want to release it in a polished state. I completely understand that.

But honestly, I don't even need a polished version.

I just want the ability to enter the world with a character I created, even if it's extremely basic or unbalanced. It doesn't need full customization, perfect traits, or even proper balance.

I would be totally fine with something like: choosing a portrait or basic appearance, picking starting stats, selecting a couple starting skills, maybe a simple background or trait even if it's rough, incomplete, or a bit broken.

What I really want is the role-playing aspect: starting in Aldor with a character that feels like mine, and then letting the world generate a random story from there.

Right now the preset characters are great and have good lore, but sometimes I just want to experience the game as my own mercenary with my own story.

Even a very early version of character creation would already add a huge amount of replayability for me.
