What to expect from dynamic ultrasound?

The hip preservation specialist who will likely be doing my surgeries (both sides need repair) is having me go for a dynamic ultrasound in 2 weeks to be able to visualize the extent of the hypermobility in my hips so that the results of that test can inform the surgery plan.

has anyone else been sent this route? What can I expect during the test?
