Steering wheel feels like it has less resistance when steering?

Hi,

I recently changed my tires to Michelin PSAS 4 and got an alignment. Before I had Firehawk Indy 500s which were quite worn out.

My steering wheel felt like it was more stiff and not as loose I’d say. Didn’t have to turn my wheel a large degree when making turns.

Is it the tires? Or the alignment?
