New Washer, flickering lights

Our new LG washer is a top load with an agitator. For some reason our lights in our kitchen dim when the agitator cycles.

I considered the kitchen lights may be on the same circuit? probably not the end of the world...

This happens every time it runs.

Tonight I started a load and headed upstairs and noticed a lamp in the bedroom dimming ever so slightly, farthest away from the washer as it could be which spawned the question "damn, just how serious is this?
