Idea to make dating apps possibly better.

Relationships / Dating

This is a random idea I've been thinking about for a while. Even though I lowkey hate dating apps, a feature that I wish was lowkey that was a mandatory thing is putting your type. I know you have the option to put it as one of your prompt answers or in your bio, whatever, but I feel like most people don't do that. Especially with apps that give you limited likes, I feel like it would be so helpful, so I don't have to waste my time giving a like to someone who wouldn't be into me anyway.

The way I imagine it is when you first create your profile, there will be a mandatory section called "My type," and it'll go through physical attributes like hair color, hair type, eye color, etc. You can select what you like, and if you do not have a preference, you can select that. It'll do the same thing for "Personality," and maybe another section could be like "Lifestyle and Hobbies". And there could be more sections, but maybe those are optional.

I'm sure some people are thinking, "What if I don't have a type?" Well, you have the option to click no preference, but i'm sure there has to be something in particular you like. Anyways whats y'alls thoughts on this would like this feature if added to all dating apps. Would you like to see any ideas?

I personally would like this feature because 1. I can see if someone would actually be into me by their "My type description," and vice versa 2. I think this would allow people to possibly better match with people they are actually attracted to 3. It kinda forces people to be transparent about what they like, so hopefully no one waste there time.
