PCSing to Ft Riley

Hi guys. This post may be all over the place and long but my gaining unit hasn’t been able to help and I’m at a total loss of what to do and I can’t find anything on the internet so I’m hoping yall can help me gain insight or just advice? I don’t know.

Basically my husband and I are literally going to be in Fort Riley tomorrow (my report date is the 10th), but for the last couple months everything has been going wrong. We were dual military- until in late January my husband was told at 1800-1900 that THAT DAY was his ETS as he had timed out for being in his rank for too long. Him, his leadership, and even as far up as the BN CSM don’t even know about it until they told him. We were completely unprepared and he had to clear in a couple days while actively not being in the military.

He had not been able to find a job until we were meant to leave and we are also recently married and our S1 had been giving us the run around on BAH PARs and it was just a really financially bad time. My leadership recommended I request advanced DLA (which I did, and got, as we are currently moving DITY -ourselves and our stuff) and we do finally end up getting BAH last paycheck but unfortunately all that has been blown through because of rent, bills, a deposit for a new place in Manhattan, and food and our pet. As well as so far moving expenses like the UHaul and hotels and gas (my GTC is very selective on if it wants to work or not.

Also- the place we were supposed to be moving into on the 6th of March had called and said they messed up the current tenants move in dates and we won’t be able to move in until April and tried setting us up for an air bnb that is $2200 for the month (which we can’t afford) and would only be paying about $700 of that for us.

Anyways- currently we are left with $500 and are in Missouri and I genuinely don’t know what to do moving forward.

We won’t be able to move into the Airbnb anymore- we will have no housing. I don’t know if we can afford a storage unit for our things and we definitely won’t be able to afford a hotel for a month and I don’t even know if my GTC would work for that considering how bipolar it’s been on deciding to work or not. I am the only source of income and I’m panicking and I’m 90% sure we’re going to have to live in our cars. On post somewhere.

I just need advice or something I don’t even know what to do right now.
