37 [F4M] - Los Angeles - dating on Reddit is too similar to Love is Blind

well hello! trying my hand at another Reddit r4r round, as the dating apps remain The Bad Place. Also just finished the latest dumpifire season of Love is Blind, and if that show isn’t a complete microcosm of what modern dating has become, I don’t know what else has XD

I’m 37, newish to LA from Chicago. I have a solid job & salary in entertainment. I’m finding out I’m extremely anti AI and big tech so I’ve been getting into hobbies that are unplugged such as ceramics, lifting weights, Pilates, golf & pickleball lately.

I like to think I have a good sense of humor to the point one of my newest side quests is taking stand up classes.
